PPohela Boishak: (the day of Bangla new year) is very much colorful here all over Bangladesh. The day has been celebrated with many local customs and folk events. Both of Bengali and indigenous people are participating many cultural programs.
Our Schedule: We have arranged a 3 day’s program including 1 night home stay to be celebrated especially by indigenous community at Cox’s bazaar- the place of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Terms And Conditions:
- We need minimum 4 persons for run this trip.
- The above mentioned price is tentative. It can be changed depend on the number of persons.
First we enjoy worlds longest sea beach (100 km long from Cox’s bazaar to Teknaf- close to Myanmar) accompanied with hills behind. After having breakfast, you move to attend ‘Water Playing’ (Pani-Chita) what is much common and popular performance to all indigenous people especially to the youngsters. Then on the way back, you can see Buddhist temple and the way of prayers (Puja) around.
In the morning, after breakfast, you will travel to Rakhain Palli- Rakhain village to be experienced the real life, culture & customs of Rakhains. At the evening, Rakhain cultural events will be performed, and at night you will stay with Rakhain’s home at the village.
Cox’s bazaar is one of the land areas of Bangladesh where salt (sea salt/sodium) is been cultivating by peasants. In the morning, we are visit salt fields, talk to the salt peasants/labors. After lunch, we fly to Dhaka by air.
